Please give me recs that will introduce me to your favorite original characters.  There are no limits to this request; I don't want to miss anyone interesting, but please indicate whether a story is very angsty.  I save those to read when I'm in the proper mood.  I don't see a tag to indicate request: original characters.

okay, please bear with me. I don't actually remember much of the story. I'm looking for a story where jim and Blair are on the run in the woods, I think the bad guys are chasing them..
